OUR STUDIO
About us
CRDA offers classes in Royal Academy of Dance Classical Ballet, Commercial Jazz, Character, Contemporary, Lyrical Modern, Tap and Musical Theatre. CRDA regularly compete in Solo and Troupe Eisteddfods, partake in the Grafton Rotary Corals by Candlelight performance as well as producing an annual Christmas concert in early December for all Students.
Classes are for both Boys and Girls, from the ages of 3-18 yrs.
As classical Ballet is the basis to all Genres (Styles) of Dance, CRDA teach the most recognised syllabus from the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). The Royal Academy of Dance is one of the largest and most influential dance education and training organisations in the world. As a Royal Academy of Dance Studio, we must follow the RAD code of conduct and requirements as well as our teachers having to regularly attend annual training and development programs.
If you want a career in the Performing Arts such as Dance, Singing, Acting and even Modelling, it is important to have some form of dance training. Dancing helps with both mental and physical development, improves both a child’s fine and gross motor skills. They learn to follow instructions and accept discipline and feedback, while developing confidence, commitment and responsibility.
The Studio has had three successful tours to the USA performing at Disneyland, Universal Studios and Hollywood Boulevard.
The Studio Family are advised to keep an eye on the Clarence River Dance Academy’s FACEBOOK page “Parents of CRDA” for all Studio information including coming events or Academy news.
